South & City College Birmingham
We have exceptional facilities which we continue to invest in, including a purpose built construction centre, hair and beauty salons which are open to the public, a fine dining restaurant run by students, music and sound recording rooms, a industry standard auditorium. South and City College Birmingham is a vocational college which offers students part time, full time and Apprenticeship courses from level 1 to higher education in a range of subjects.

Sandwell College
The majority of our full-time students are aged 16-18; they either study courses designed to give them skills for the modern workplace (such as Automotive Engineering, Beauty Therapy and Web Design), or they are preparing for A Levels and university in Central Sixth, our brand-new but heavily over-subscribed Sixth Form. The new state-of-the-art Central Campus combines a specialist automotive centre, beauty and hairdressing salons, computer suites, construction workshops, engineering and science laboratories, fashion and photography studios, a sports hall and a 170-seater theatre – among many other facilities. Trainee dental nurses practise in a simulated surgery, while Travel and Tourism students train in a real aircraft fuselage

BOA
Birmingham Ormiston Academy offers post-16 students the opportunity to specialise in the subjects they love and in which they show real talent. Our learning pathways include BTEC and traditional AS / A2 courses. Different types of courses can be combined to suit individual skills and talent. Our enrichment programme provides additional opportunities to extend interests and areas of study.
On entry, students will choose a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (broadly equivalent to 3 ‘A’ levels). They are also encouraged to take additional courses; usually one or two other AS / A2 levels or BTEC awards.
